益城町馬水東道仮設団地
「お誕生日交流会BBQパーティー」9/29
毎月恒例の誕生日交流会は、住民さんがその月生まれの住民さんを祝うイベントです。今回は、9月生まれの住民さんを「秋のバーベキューパーティー」でお祝いです。途中、台風の影響で益城町も強風となり、急いでみんなで撤去作業！みんなの家の中に移動して、老若男女、夜遅くまで笑い声の絶えない誕生日交流会となりました。また自治会をはじめ、みなさんが他県の災害にも心を寄せていて、自治会より緊急支援活動に応援をいただいたり、みなさん暖かいです。退去される方が増えてくる中、馬水東道自治会でも、このような交流の機会の継続を望まれています。

Mamizuhigashimichi Temporary Housing Site
Sep.29 “September Birthday BBQ Party”
Celebrating birthdays had become monthly interaction event at this site. We had BBQ this month, and celebrated 2 residents born in September.
Although we had to stop BBQing and move inside due to strong wind caused by Typhoon, interaction continued till night. Residents are worried about disasters happenining in other areas and warmly support our activities.
Some will leave the site eventually when their houses are rebuilt, while some will stay longer till public housings are ready. Continuation of keeping the opportunities for residents to interact with others is indispensable.
